The institute provides a framework for scholarly debate that highlights and substantiates our European roots and what binds and structures us together.

In a time shaken by identity crises, historical grounds oblige us to discuss our real positioning in space and time. The imperative not to forget—essential to cultural and moral survival—guided the choice of our programme.
